(Atlanta, GA) Atlanta the birthplace of the iconic pop group TLC celebrated the highly anticipated televised premiere of the VH1 biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story on Monday October 21st at Suite Restaurant and Lounge. Actor Carl Payne (The Cosby Show/Martin), who portrays L.A. Reid in the film hosted the celebratory night with supporting cast members, music executives that were involved in TLC’s twenty plus year career, and media guests.

Aside from a guest list of media and celebrity supporters, fans formed lines around the corner of the posh new establishment waiting to witness the premiere in support of the best-selling girl group that was founded in Atlanta GA years ago by LaFace Records. Some of the evening’s special guests included music industry veteran Shanti Das, Ian Burke, singer Bobby Valentino, Memphitz, Nicci Gilbert (R&B Divas), Lil Scrappy (Love & Hip Hop Atlanta), actor/singer Cori Sims, comedian Rodney Perry, socialite/philanthropist Chanita Foster, socialite Sheneka Adams, Reigndrop Lopes (sister of Lisa Left Eye Lopes) and many more.

The evening began with host Carl Payne thanking the crowd for support and encouraging fans to show their support via social media. Guests watched in captivated silence as CrazySexyCool was featured on jumbo screens and televisions throughout the venue. Drink sponsor Malibu Red provided cocktails inspired by the film such as the “Red Light Special” and the “CrazySexyCool”, while the DJ took the audience on a trip back to the 90s, spinning TLC records during commercial breaks.

Rolling Out hosted live interviews via Ustream for cast members and celebrity guests to share their excitement with fans about the movie and shot out Chilli and T-Boz who were still on their media tour. Chilli and T-Boz appreciated the love and support from Atlanta and millions of viewers who tuned-in to CrazySexyCool. The packed room fell silent again as Chilli and T-Boz appeared as themselves on the screen recording “Meant to Be” in the studio with Ne-Yo. As the movie ended guests applauded and requested for the VH1 encore to be played. Miss Jessie’s provided gift bags that also included the latest two issues of Rolling Out with Chilli and Keke Palmer on the cover.
