7th annual Winter Ski Fest weekend welcomes over 2k guests from across the US
Atlanta-More than 2,000 people boarded buses from Atlanta, Baltimore/Washington D.C, Chicago and St. Louis; and flew in from all over the world to unite in Gatlinburg, Tennessee for the largest urban ski fest in the Southeast. Celebrating its 7th year, the four day weekend kicked off the first night on Friday with “Rep Your City”, in which attendees dressed in NFL jerseys and shirts to represent their hometown team, was hosted by Atlanta Malibu Red ambassador, Mel Simms (ATL Barz). Malibu Red sponsored shots and classic cocktail drinks for the happy hour event. As guests continued to arrive from their different hotels, comedian K-Dub got the audience hyped and prepared for “Playdate”, the dating game, for the winter ski fest’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. The game consisted of two rounds in which three ladies were asked a series of questions by a bachelor in hopes of him meeting a potential date as well as a bachelorette receiving the chance to quiz and drill her potential date. In the end, the lucky winners received a prize package sponsored by Ciroc.
As the night went on, guests prepared for the biggest event of the night, “The 80’s vs. 90’s Costume Party”. Guests arrived dressed as their favorite singers, bands, cartoon characters and more and partied the night away as DJ’s Father Scott, Tayrock and Atlanta’s renowned DJ Frank Ski mixed Hip-Hop and R&B classics from the 80’s and 90’s. Winter Ski Fest is a collaborative effort of Elite Creative Group, ATL Barz & DJ Tayrock.
